2011 End Year News and Welcome to 2012.

I.S.C.F-INTER-SCHOOLS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP-KENYA
Welcome to I.S.C.F  end year Report 2011. The yesr ended well and we managed to reach and minister to more than 60 schools and 10 orphanages and we were blessed to receive 2 visitors Marylyn and Tim both from Canada who visited during month of September. They taught children in 6 of our member schools, Marylyn thought environment and Health to children aged 6 and above while Tim thought Bible lessons to kindergarten children.
Our visitors had wonderful moments with children, teachers and the patrons in charge of the schools. The experience was overwhelming.
We are projecting to bring on board as many learning institutions as possible as earliest as the beginning of  year 2012.Our goal is to reach all Kenyan Primary ,High schools and Colleges all over the country in spreading the word of God.

NEEDS AND CHALLENGES
In achieving our goals the following are needed in order to carry out our activities smoothly:-

1. Setting of Bible clubs. (On going)
-In order this to be practical we need:
-Bibles
-Bible stories/Christian series of teaching.
-Christian teaching movies.
2. Ball games/ inter- schools (participating schools)
Needs: -
Soccer balls, netballs, badminton balls
-skipping ropes
-Games kits for teams-uniforms.
-Shoes for teams and first aid kits.
3. Bible clubs identification uniforms.
Every participant from member school bible clubs should have uniforms like the scouts; uniform to identify the clubs.
4. Media equipments for reporting and recording the events.
- Projector
-Laptops
-Video camera
-Digital camera
-Video tripod/stand
-External hard discs
-Card reader.
We are grateful to have received a digital camera from our brother in Ashley from Canada and we thank Brother Arnold who delivered  the camera to us.The need of the camera has been accomplished and any one who wants to assist with any of the above items for reporting and recording is welcome.

5. Resource Center for:

-Cyber cafe.
- Counseling and behavioral change.

6. School supplies (stationery)

-Pens, pencils, exercise books, rubbers, dusters, rulers, geometrical sets, writing pads and note books for teacher’s preparation
-Kindergartens teaching materials.
-Teaching AID Like:
World maps
-Globe maps
-Learning toys and wall charts-wall clocks
-Text books.
If possible Kenyan Curriculum from K.I.E (Kenya Institute of education)
-Dictionaries.

7. Health education/Girl child.
We find that girls lack sanitary towels forcing to use Tissue papers endangering their health. So there is need for sanitary towels for distribution to our member schools to help the girl child.
8. Baby care Facilities
We need: toys, Bicycles, dolls and sleeping mattresses etc
 9. First Aid kits-All First aid equipments
10. Child sponsorship
US $ 15 dollars will sponsor an orphan for school uniforms
-shoes
-Socks
-Pullover
-Dress
-Shirt
-short.
